Striking a balance – what matters
most in general practice?
The government is reviewing general practice healthcare
to establish priorities for the future. The General Practitioners Committee (GPC) of the British Medical Association
wishes to seek the views of the public, patient groups, health charities and the professions on four key issues facing general
practice and patients: It maybe that one of the issues below is of particularly importance to you, please feel free
to comment on what matters to you, not necessarily the whole document.
The evolving practice team
Getting a suitable appointments
Care and treatment outside normal working hours
Continuity and coordination of care in the modern NHS.
The GPC has published a 12 page consultation document
